The red bin will remain, for steel and aluminium cans, and for plastics type 1 and 2 only. No other plastics, please, as they contaminate the recyclable plastics and make the whole bin go to landfill! Both bins will be collected on the same day of the week.
Let's get ready for this change, tell our neighbours, and keep an eye out for new information on WDC's Recycling web page over the next few weeks. "I didn't know" or "nobody told me" doesn't count!
