Perhaps you’re teaching yourself to code, or maybe you’ve enrolled in an evening class or online course to help your employment prospects. It might have been something you did with your employer’s blessing, or maybe you’ve struck out on your own.

Maybe you’ve struggled to find work and did it as a way to get back on the career ladder, or perhaps you’re concerned about the pace of change in your field and want to stay ahead.

Please avoid all non-essential use for the next 24 hours: save your washing till Wednesday evening, or put off doing the dishes. We appreciate the work being done to conserve water in the drought but for today and tomorrow we need to step that up even higher.

Background:
There has been a problem with a pipe which requires us to drain one of the tanks at the Whau Valley treatment plant and the repair is expected to take until 8pm Wednesday. ⌚
