Housesitter extraordinaire available !
My friend has a home in Auckland but has been travelling overseas for several months and has tenants currently until at least February and therefore wishes to offer her services as a house sitter. Dates beyond February would also be negotiable. She has plenty experience and has excellent references having done this many times before. She has lived, owned and operated a business in Northland in the past and is very keen to house sit in Whangarei. Having known my friend for 40+ years I can personally assure you that your home would receive the best of care and you could enjoy your travels with no concerns for your property. Please contact Dianne 0211017877. She will be delighted to hear from you !
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
