Reminder - Te Matau a Pohe bridge maintenance work
A reminder that the northern footpath and road shoulder is closed until 11pm this Friday 10 November.
Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to use the southern footpath. Road traffic will be able to use the bridge as per normal.
On Saturday 11 November there will a full road closure and footpath closure.
There will be no pedestrian or road traffic access across the bridge. Dave Culham Drive will be closed at the Port Road and Riverside Drive roundabouts. Bridge will only open to marine/water traffic for half an hour at 3pm on Saturday (11 Nov)

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
