How wonderful in this time of bad things happening, that someone completely unknown to me, pays for my strawberries. I hastily gave her the lonely $5. Skoota is a 10 YO Foxy X Jack Russell , mainly white with a brown spot on his back, has a red collar with names tag and telephone numbers, and a council tag from the South Island as we only recently moved up to Waipapa.
The first and only sighting was 72 hours ago on Kapiro Road Waipapa. Nothing since. He can be timid, certainly not aggressive, not interested in killing and eating sheep.
Also recently had a medical condition making him at times disoriented and unbalanced and for this needs care and regular visit to the vet's .
Again we ask people to share the info if possible as only with a wider community will we be able to locate him.
The country out there is huge and being so small it makes our task almost impossible on our own. Any sighting will help .
