We already have our first one in Royal Oak, Auckland and 20 more to come over the next few months. Those 20 received have funding from the Government’s Electric Vehicle Contestable Fund, meaning we have been able to roll these charging stations out to areas that haven’t seen them before.

I did a double take, then I started up firefox and logged in to my paypal account, and no such transaction has taken place (thank heavens).
But the email looked very convincing. It had a link to dispute the transation, a link to help, a link to the supposed vendor --- except all those links lead to the same address when put under the microscope.
Which I am not going to visit, naturally: I expect it's full of malware.
Just, be aware - if a fishy paypal email arrives, it's probably phishy.

I currently have a couple of guys staying with me on Work Visas till mid-February from Germany. One is a qualified Landscape Architect, the other a Carpenter. They both have great english and have been traveling around this beautiful country of ours. Over summer they have decided to make Northland there home and seeking employment whilst here. They are happy to give anything a go. Ideally they are seeking a Summer job that will carry them through till February. Don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any employment opportunities available.
Thanks
Carmen

We've had word that the folk of Taranaki have more than their fair share of potholes - and we're keen to know how widespread the issue is in other communities around New Zealand. Do you have potholes popping up around your 'hood that need attention? Vote below.
