We get 2 weeks off work starting from Christmas Day, I think....boss hasn't decided dates yet- and we'd love to live by the sea for 1 - 2 weeks! We could mind a home with animals etc. We choose the seaside because my mum was reared there and has lived on a farm since she was married so we want a seaside experience! She hasn't lived there since 1956. Does anyone know of any possibility that might be available? We can provide verbal references from neighbours & friends and because we are Christians, we can guarantee the home owner who trusts us will not be disappointed!

After the cashier told a surprised me that my card had declined I stood aside to check my bank balance online. Next the cashier called out that the man had paid for our selection. I rushed out to see him drive off in a blue station wagon.
Money in account - I had actually keyed in an incorrect PIN number.
Some weeks ago a lady in front of me at the supermarket checkout was trying to decide what to put back as she didn’t have enough money to cover her shop. I paid her $5 shortfall.
I believe in Karma and that what goes around comes around. This was mine.
I will continue to keep it going!

Hi neighbours - tourists can no longer swim with Bottlenose dolphins in the Bay of Islands after research found people are "loving them too much and affecting their behaviour".
Have you swam with dolphins before? Is this ban the right move?

Two different projects will run with the first hoping to bring generations together, and the second focusing on high health and social needs. These projects will mix physical exercise with Te Reo and the passing down of cultural knowledge.
What do you think should be a priority for Kaumātua? What do you think would be most beneficial for them?
