I did a double take, then I started up firefox and logged in to my paypal account, and no such transaction has taken place (thank heavens).
But the email looked very convincing. It had a link to dispute the transation, a link to help, a link to the supposed vendor --- except all those links lead to the same address when put under the microscope.
Which I am not going to visit, naturally: I expect it's full of malware.
Just, be aware - if a fishy paypal email arrives, it's probably phishy.
