The water being distributed to One Tree Point may have an unpleasant earthy taste but it is safe to drink. Putting water in the fridge should improve the taste. However, if taste and odour problems persist please call Council on 09 430 4200 and we can organise for the lines in your street to be flushed as soon as we have sufficient water to do so – expected to be early this week.
We apologise for any inconvenience and thanks again for your understanding.
