Does the rest of NZ really dislike Auckland and Aucklanders?
Hi everyone,
We're looking into how some common claims about NZ stack up and would be interested in your thoughts on whether Auckland and Aucklanders really are disliked by Kiwis in other parts of the country. If you're an Aucklander, have you ever been made to feel bad about this on your travels? If you're from elsewhere, what are your thoughts on Auckland and Aucklanders? Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
