Marlene from Parua Bay / Whangarei Heads

Hi Neighbours.
After seeing the above ph no. on my cell ph (my ph showed the message it was a scam call).
I did not answer it or the message they left - deleted & blocked straight away. I rung One.NZ (Vodafone) & they confirmed it was a scam.

We're building a new bridge between Cafler Park and Second Avenue, closing the old one from now until early 2024 while the work takes place.

The old "Lovers Lane Bridge" has been repaired many times but has now reached the end of its lifespan. The new design will completely remove the central pillar, a feature which has caused problems in the stream for many years, and be wider and more user-friendly. It forms a vital link between the Kamo Shared Path and Raumanga Shared Path.

Locals and frequent users can plan their detour routes now - access the First Avenue footbridge via Central Avenue (recommended) or along the narrow streamside path.
