Heartbeats is a community-based cardiac support group for heart event survivors, their partners and also family. Heartbeats members come together each month to:
- help each other with long term personal rehabilitation and cardiac management, through sharing their experiences
- provide a better understanding of heart disease among members and the broader community
- connect members with a broad base of cardiac healthcare providers
At most meetings we have a guest speaker, either a doctor, cardiologist, dietitian, pharmacist, physiotherapist, heart health counsellor etc.
Come along to our very informal, friendly meetings, share your journey and learn from others with the same life-changing issue.
