Rebus Club of Gulf Harbour
We are now the 4th Rebus Club on the Hibiscus Coast. At our first meeting held on the 9th October, 21 local active retirees were inducted into membership with more applucation now having been received. We meet monthly at the Gulf Harbour Yacht Club on the 2nd Wednesday at 9 30am. $5 entry fee covers morning tea, and a chance to win a door prize. Speaker for Wednesday 13 November, is Dr Pat Alley, subject - "Trip to Antarctica as a Ship's Doctor". Couples or singles retired or soon to be, are most welcome. Come and see if Rebus is for you.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
