This month is all about bringing your community together and having a great time! We want March to be all about celebrating the connections we have while making new ones along the way. As we all know, what makes a neighbourhood great isn't the houses and cars, gardens and streets - it's the people who share their presence and aroha with each other.
A wonderful way to take part is to participate in Neighbours Day Aotearoa which is celebrating it's 10th anniversary from March 22nd to 31st. To help you get started, we love their suggestions for 10 little and 10 big ways to get involved. (link below)
Let us know how you're celebrating this month by tagging us in your posts + using the following hashtag so we can see what you get up to:

The first one is a Money Management Programme where you come away with a fairly comprehensive future focused financial plan. We are based in Birkdale Community House for this class. We learn budgeting, investing, portfolios and trusts to name a few.
The Second one is Smart Steps to Business, from our Albany Campus, where you take a business idea that you've been thinking about and test that idea in the classroom to see if it could become viable. You come out of the programme with an extensive start up plan.
Both these programmes are fully government supported and incur no fees and are run by Te Wananga O Aotearoa.
Please ask questions or give me a txt to start talking about this great opportunity.

βWe wanted to make sure that a trip to our clinic was as stress-free an experience as possible for our cat patients and their owners. Cats can get very anxious when taken out of their usual environment, and this can make owners reluctant to seek veterinary attention when their cat needs it. By undertaking Cat-Friendly Clinic accreditation, weβve committed to delivering high standards of cat care, with compassion and expertise.β
Best Practice Accredited - awarded in July 2018.
We are proud to announce our Best Practice accreditation! Best Practice is a NZ Veterinary Association initiative to encourage excellence in Veterinary Medicine.
We are the first clinic on the North Shore to achieve this standard and it provides further assurance that you are trusting your pet to safe care. The accreditation involves voluntarily submitting ourselves to a stringent and comprehensive scrutiny of the facility, staff and operational standards every two years by an independent auditor.
Being a voluntary set of standards, it is a clear indication that our team is professional, organised and motivated to provide excellence of care for your pet.

Hmmm...integrity and respect for other's rights not looking like part of this picture.
My husband visited the Council this morning and was told there was no such thing as a Council supplied junk mail sticker. They gave us the Marketing Association number which we called to be also told this did not exist.
So beware if you use John as it seems that his pursuit of the dollar will outweigh his care for the job done and his respect of his client's wishes.....especially if you happen to complain about his work (ear muffs required :-) )
