Kewpie Cruise owner Brandon Stone said the one of his vessels discovered the debris this morning, supposedly marking a tribal boundary, and cancelled their trip to the island.
Stone says it is the latest act of aggression against his tour business from a few "bad apples" on the island. He says racist remarks have been shouted at people on board his vessel.

Waste water [including sewage] has accidentally ended up in Acacia Bay after contractors forgot to turn the pumps back on. This is the latest of several incidents involving spills into Lake Taupō over the past year.
