I am on the home stretch with regard to my vision of New Zealand women having the best access to information and support all through their ovarian cancer diagnosis. The New Zealand Gynaecological Cancer Foundation have appointed me as an Ambassador for them. This is an honour I never saw coming! They have also agreed to stand behind my book project which addresses the significant health issue of ovarian cancer in all its forms. To achieve my aim I really need support from the public. I will be the only Kiwi attending this event and the value of this networking can not be underestimated. An extra $1000 will mean I can travel debt free. Please check out 5% Going Teal on Facebook and givealittle.co.nz... I will also be the South Island representative for the Foundation at this stage. Local girl made good. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions. When I return I will have a speaking schedule so if you would like more information I am happy to visit your workplace or group. Arohanui, Catharine.
PS: Bears can be viewed for purchase at Quilters Quarters, Carpet Court Rangiora and Woodend Medical Centre. They are one of my fundraisers.

Ronny Hiller raced to the nearest automated external defibrillator (AED) at Woodend Community Centre, in North Canterbury, but found he needed to call 111 again for a code to unlock it. It took the operator five minutes to find the code.
St John medical director Tony Smith said there was no legal requirement for the ambulance service to be informed of the location of publicly available AEDs but he encouraged people to let them know and register the location of the device on the New Zealand AED Locations website.

I was thinking of the kind that farmers put over the top of their hay while it is in the paddock-they look really thick and waterproof, not like the tarps you get in Mitre 10, etc. It is roughly about 30ft long by 8ft wide. Any help would be much appreciated.
