The school would hold a service to celebrate Sutton’s life in the hall on Tuesday, and the community was encouraged to come along to celebrate his life. The service would be livestreamed.
Our thoughts are with Alan's family, friends and school community.

We are still on the lookout for a suitable house to rent in Kaiapoi. We are both older folks, we don't smoke and have no pets. We would like a long term rental, preferably a three-bedroom home, but we can probably consider a two-bedroom if the garage is of the larger type so that we can store our bikes and I can continue working at my small business. We want to stay in Kaiapoi as we both like it here. A garden would be welcome as Paul has a keen interest in that.
We also have excellent references. So if you know of anywhere that might be suitable please get in touch, we have wee bit of time yet but as we all know time is a fleeting thing, so if you know or have heard of something that may suit please get in touch. Thank you to all, Lynda and Paul.😄

We have purchased a house and will be breaking our lease on the 25th of January on a lovely modern three bedroom, two bathroom house in Mansfield park. We have a dog, therefore I’m sure the owners would be open to tenants with a small dog.

As shown in photos the hoover is in very very good condition. Smaller heads have not been used.
This is an outstanding hoover, I will never go back to a corded model.

It is certainly repairable if you are or know an electrician, or electronics whizz kid. It is about 15 years old. I intend to get a new one, once more arrive in the shops. It is free to anyone who is prepared to come and take away. It will need at least 4 strong blokes to lift it and carry across the garden to the driveway. Weight(empty) is approx 300 kgs. I am in Pines Beach. Ring 021 938 480 if you are interested. Happy Christmas everyone.

I want to thank all those who came to our club rooms to see our Model Railway Christmas Grotto and the layouts in our "Great Hall". This was the first time an event like this had been staged by us and possibly in N.Z. to our knowledge. There were a lot of happy and satisfied visitors from many other places in N.Z. We had a lot of great comments / compliments about what we had done and lots of interesting conversations about early model railway. All the children seemed to enjoy THOMAS AND FRIENDS as well, This event was more successful than we had anticipated. Again a BIG THANK YOU to all who supported this activity.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.
