These seedlings, if not checked, will soon become a problem to remove and an ongoing issue for the historic graves. We are seeking keen volunteers to help assist us removing these seedlings on a weekly basis.
All you need is a pair of gardening gloves, hat, water, your own snacks and to arrive at The Shelter in the cemetery by 9am. We'll work until about 12pm but your contribution need not be all of that time.
If you have any questions, please email us at secretary@friendsofkaroricemetery.co.nz, otherwise just turn up on the day 🙂

Council's strange priorities...

Neil from Thorndon

This image shows paid Council employees as they harass naughty drivers, it also shows severe road damage in the foreground.
It's clear where Mayor Whanau's priorities lie and it isn't on fixing the roads.
By the way, I'm a cyclist.

The doc has said I can work 15 hours per week so I am looking for a job with those hours.

Must be a job where I pay tax as I have to prove to Winz that I have a job.

I was in my last job working for Wilson parking for 10 years.

I have a clean licence and am prepared to do most jobs
