One of my son's trips yesterday had him boarding and disembarking in suburbs completely different to his actual travel. Worse, his tertiary concession was not applied. I rang Snapper and they said the concession is for off-peak travel only, even though their website states: "Eligible full-time tertiary students will receive a 25% discount off the peak-time adult Snapper fares." They are "looking into it" but in the meantime students are being misled and ripped off.

Some bus and timetables routes have changed and some bus stops have been closed. There is a different operator for some routes and some drivers aren't familiar with the routes they'll drive. Expect delays and "teething" problems. You can phone 0800 801 700 for bus location and time but they won't know if the bus will be full before it gets to you. You can check which bus to catch on their website or look for updates.
