Hi neighbours! I am currently in the process of buying items to make gift bags for the ladies and children at the women's refuge over the christmas time.
Even though we will all be having a lovely time with our families, some women and children will be struggling, alone, without necessities, and a little gift may really help them out, and also let them know that someone cares.
I currently have collected (myself and another generous donator from Miramar) items such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, tooth brushes, razors, and other such items. Items such as these will be great, and anything else useful such as brunch bars, deodorant and anything else you can think of! If you are able to help, your donations would be much appreciated!
If you cannot donate items, but would like to make a contribution, you can forward money, and I can either give the women the money, or buy necessity items, whichever you prefer.
I will be collecting till the 1st of December, so let me know if you have any donations. I have a scooter so am able to drive to surrounding suburbs, or am in Hataitai for you to drop off.
Thanks for your time,
Rhiann
