As a part of our wastewater pipe upgrade work in Strathmore Park, a section of Kinghorne St between Glamis Ave and Elphinstone St will be closed from 6 May - 27 May. Residents who live in the affected area will be granted access through the work site.
The footpath will remain open for pedestrians.

Crews will be working in the tunnel between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday and access to the tunnel will occasionally be reduced to one lane and controlled by a stop/go procedure.
The work is scheduled to be finished around June, weather dependent.
This is part of an ongoing programme improve the safety of Wellington's earthquake prone structure.
