My wife has had a tingling of the lips, mouth and tongue on first use of a new tube. I compared the ingredients and they are markedly different. Also the new tube was made in the UK while the previous one was made in Thailand. Both were purchased at Pak N Save. Also the new tube contained 100gms while the previous was 110gms.
Interested to hear if anyone else noticed the difference.
Cheers

We will be completing this repair tonight between 11pm-3am, this will involve water being shut off. Water is expected to be back on at 3am, however if there are any delays we will notify Wellington City Council who will share this information on their social channels.
Noise will be minimal, and affected businesses/residents have been informed.
Full traffic flow will be maintained through the intersection, with existing traffic management in place due to the closed shoulder on the Northern Western corner of the Dixon/Willis Street intersection.

Work is progressing well in Hargreaves Street, as we pour the concrete floor and walls in the chamber, and finish off the pipe installation. We are on track to open up the bottom of Hargreaves Street by the end of the month in preparation for the Wallace Street road closure happening from December 8.
Weβve taken a few photos from around the current work site, as well as inside the chamber at Hargreaves Street so you can see what it looks like under the surface.

In brief, this document states:
- WCC has chosen light rail along the water front.
- The result of MRT competing for road space will be to push traffic to less suitable routes such as around the bays.
- It only aims to be better than driving a car (not better than our current bus service)
- The tender says nothing about the impact of blockages resulting from vehicle crashes or building incidents such as the Kilbirnie Crescent Dairy fire
- There is nothing the safety risk to pedestrians and cyclists along the route
Here are page references and excerpts for the above statements:
MRT competing for road space:
a. βtraffic diversion is expected to less suitable routes such as around the bays or through Newtown. This issue is expected to become more critical as other modes compete for road space on these routes (i.e. mass transit through Newtown)β (pg 145)
b. The consultant βneeds to understand the impacts of displaced traffic from the MRT route, and work with the City Streets team to understand mitigation options that could be consideredβ and βneeds to assess the impact on the wider network of traffic displaced from the MRT route, and work closely with the Analytics Unit and the City Streets team to understand what options could be considered to help manage and mitigate the impacts of displaced trafficβ (pg 104)
βBeyond the CBD/central city, engineering solutions are likely to be more expensive and potentially lower patronage potential (due to more dispersed development patterns south and east of Newtown) could be challenging.β (pg 96)
Page 96 states that MRT in Wellington should have the following characteristic:
βfast and reliable and a genuinely attractive alternative to the car . It should explicitly have said:
a. fast and reliable and a genuinely attractive alternative to the current bus network; or
b. βdoesnβt impact on the current bus system/timetables encouraging people to use carsβ.
This is important because MRT should result in a better service for passengers than the current bus service for people travelling on the MRT route and should not impact other bus users e.g. if the bus service is reduced.
It is a major concern that the list of factors that need to be taken into consideration for the business case (pg 102) omits to explicitly include
a. A safety assessment for impact on pedestrians and cyclists along the route. There is a significant risk of deaths and injuries as evidenced with overseas LRT given the proposed route passes through the National War Memorial Park and Newtown shops.
b. The impact of blockages resulting from vehicle crashes or building incidents such as the Kilbirnie Crescent Dairy fire
It appears someone in the WCC has signed Wellington up to LRT and a route via the waterfront. See excerpts below (pg 94) .
a. "WCC proposes to adopt the baseline route and Light Rail Transit (LRT) as the recommended route and mode as the basis of engagement given the conclusions of the PBC"
b. The LGWM MRT project does not have a preferred position on the modal technology to be used, aside from being a street-running mass transit mode (e.g. LRT, trackless tram or bus-based systems).

Weβre not sure who decided that Black Friday was suddenly a βthingβ down in our part of the world, so, as us Kiwis tend to do, we thought weβd put our own spin on it instead. One that is much more focused on community over consumerism, and equally about giving as it is about getting.
Curious?
Kicking off today and running through 'til Monday 2 December, we are doing our annual buy-one-give-one campaign.
That means for every Christmas Gift Box or Christmas Cracker set purchased, weβll also give one to City Missions and food banks across the country to support families in need. Our aim is to give back to an organisation within the community that each of our customers live in.
The best part? Thereβs no car park congestion, over-crowded shopping malls or #walmartfights involved. You can shop online from the comfort of your own home, with the knowledge that youβre also doing good for fellow Kiwis in their own community.
You could say that our version of Black Friday is in fact a whole lot more colourful, adding brightness to what might otherwise be a fairly bleak Christmas for many families in New Zealand.
Together, we can make Christmas a bright and tasty time for families in need - and that sounds like a pretty good deal, donβt you think?!
Whether youβre buying for an avid foodie, a wannabe masterchef, a time-poor parent, or a student who needs help to step their signature spag bol up a notch, our Christmas Gift sets are guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser, are all gluten-free, with no MSG, and all-natural!
Youβll find more information about Raptor Naturals, our Christmas Gift Boxes and our Christmas Crackers on our website - www.raptornaturals.co.nz
