’To avoid bacterial infection, keep eggs refrigerated, cook eggs until the yolks are firm, and cook eggs-containing dishes thoroughly.’’

Eggs are a nutritious food that can be included in a balanced diet. However, there are other risks involved, and to be safe, eggs must be handled as unbroken, clean, and fresh. Both egg white and yolk are high in protein. Protein accounts for around 12.6% of the edible portion of an egg. Eggs are also high in vitamins A, B, E, and K. When dealing with eggs, it’s critical to practice good food safety.
Here are some good egg safety measures to remember.

If floodwaters come into contact with the edible component of the crop, it is considered polluted and will not be harvested. Harvest-ready crops must be checked for pathogenic microbes and confined until they are declared safe to eat.
