A fat blockage in the pipes along Brandon St was sending wastewater into the stormwater line via a constructed overflow. This was located and cleared on June 12.
Investigations also found wastewater joints that had come apart under Queens Wharf, which were attended to by June 15.
If washed down the sink, fats and oils can build up in our pipes causing blockages. Itโs best to wait for fats and oils to cool then wipe them into the bin.

The $1 coin is for size reference, these habaneros are on average 4x to 5x bigger than normal chillis and are really hot so you only need to cut up a small portion into food. The rest can be frozen until needed.
$1 each or 6 for $5
