A Messy Magic Adventure
Written by David Ladderman and Lizzie Tollemache
Produced by Rollicking Entertainment

Sensible Spray and excitable Wipe are messy magicians, and they’ve been invited to a surprise party. But after a terrible cake squishing accident, magic is let loose in the kitchen, everything is turned topsy turvy, and they have to figure out how baking works before the party starts… Circus, slapstick and magic combine in this very special adventure for children aged 3 to 8.

After a sold-out season in 2018 and a national tour in 2020, Kitchen Chaos returns to Circa with all the joy, mess and mayhem audiences have come to expect from Rollicking Entertainment’s signature style of children’s theatre.

Meet and greet with the characters available after every show in the Circa foyer.

Reviews:

“Riveting, delightful, exciting and highly amusing” -Theatreview

“The winning combination of slapstick, sight gags, sound effects, sleight of hand, general silliness and puns, with the somewhat doofus Wipe juggling cake ingredients and kitchen utensils, proves irresistible.” -Stuff

Tuesday 15 April to Saturday 26 April 2025
Circa Two
11.00am and 1.30pm daily
$20 per person
$70 family pass (4 tickets)

From trekking through Nepal and enduring the cold in Antarctica to immersing themselves in Aboriginal culture in the Australian Outback, their epic retirement proves that age is no barrier to discovery. Just as Sir Edmund Hillary pushed the limits of exploration, residents of his namesake village continue to chart their own extraordinary journeys.

“We’ll keep travelling for as long as we can,” says Rodnie.

After ten years of depression, my life had hit rock bottom

I remember being ‘different’ around food for most of my life. This included things such as being the person who had two cream buns at morning tea when everyone else had one; eating icing sugar by the spoonful directly from the packet; and being the family member who went into the kitchen after dinner to eat the leftovers.

There are numerous other examples – too many to list. I could overeat anything. If I couldn’t get my preferred favourites (e.g. chocolate), I’d be eating the vegetables.

Did you send your child(ren) to the school you're in zone for (or the nearest school if you don't live inside a particular zone)? Did you enroll your child in a school out-of-zone? Did you move house to get into a particular school/zone?
