A more realistic outcome is early burnout, loss of motivation and potential mental health issues in later life.

Since 2008 we’ve seen a 60% surge in sporting injuries among under 14s. This is twice that of any other age group.

We’ve talked with the experts to discover how to maintain Kiwi kids’ sporting balance, and how you can help them reach their potential:
