Come eat some delicious food AND support the people of Ukraine at the same time! A rag-tag team of bakers will be at the famous Wellington fixture - Harbourside Market this Sunday, June 12!
The market is beside Te Papa Museum on Cable St. Our stall will be decked out in bright blue and yellow so we'll be hard to miss!
We are selling a wide range of lovingly home-baked food products and all proceeds will go to humanitarian aid and medical support for children and adults of Ukraine affected by the war (Ohmatdyt - ohmatdyt.com.ua... and Razom for Ukraine (razom means together in Ukrainian) - razomforukraine.org...).
As well as the food products a range of other Ukrainian themed items will be available for sale too.
We will be at the market from 8 am till 2 pm.
Don't forget to bring cash. We look forward to seeing you there.

The National Emergency Management Agency has instructed residents leading up to the storms to:
- Take shelter, preferably indoors away from windows;
- Avoid sheltering under trees, if outside;
- Get back to land, if outdoors on the water;
- Move cars under cover or away from trees;
- Secure any loose objects around your property;
- Check that drains and gutters are clear;
- Be ready to slow down or stop, if driving.
Once the storm is over, caution is needed outside or when driving as there may be fallen trees and power lines. It is best to avoid streams and drains as there is chance of being swept away in flash flooding.
You can check the official warnings in place on the MetService website.
Those in Taranaki can keep up to date at the Taranaki Emergency Management website.
