Student at Wellington Hospital, and keen for a little work on the side, so am looking for some families in need of childcare!
I am primarily free during evenings and weekends, but depending on my schedule which regularly changes, I can also do during the day.
I have extensive experience with children of all ages (and babies) and have been looking after kids for the last 8 years! (experience with up to 5 kids at a time) I love kids and genuinely enjoy babysitting!
I have a full license and a safe car so able to drive kids as needed!
Would love to meet you, feel free to flick me a message if you're in need of any childcare!
Thanks, Lauren.
What’s not to love about herringbone patterned tiles? This sophisticated design feature has a high-end appeal even when carried out with simple materials. Whether your colour palette is neutral or vibrant, we think that this tile pattern is a trend worth giving into!

Key benefits we will be looking for include removing tariffs and other barriers that restrict the flow of goods and services between our countries, and closer cooperation on progressive trade issues, including environmental protection.

All New Zealand police officers will receive new stab- and bullet-proof vests in a $20 million roll-out over the next three-and-a-half years.
The current vests - which were introduced in 2006 - are stab-proof, but special vests are worn by any officers involved in firearms call-outs.
They have passed their warranty, but remain "safe and fit for purpose", says Police Commissioner Mike Bush.
What do you think about the new armour? Are police officers safe using the current vests? Are you surprised the existing vests aren't stab- and bullet-proof?

For the more adventurous eaters, finish each muffin with a little wedge of Brie, Noble or Blue cheese. You might not be able to resist sneaking a couple for your own lunch!

Those who have raised monarchs are finding male to female ratio is roughly even. However, many of the female monarchs are not laying eggs. Could they be sterile? Could the males be infertile? The Monarch Butterfly NZ Trust is investigating... (600 respondents all over the country showed that 2/3 of the country had 'virtually no/fewer monarch eggs than a typical year').
You can see the survey results on our website.

Yes, social wasps (includes paper wasps), praying mantises, ants etc are natural predators and there are also parasites and pathogens which affect eggs, caterpillars and chrysalises... but if you don't have eggs, you don't get past base!
What can you do to help? Here's three top tips:
(1) supporting the MBNZT is a good beginning: funds will help us work with scientists analysing the data we've collected PLUS you get a fantastic magazine BUTTERFLIES in your mailbox four times a year with lots of tips...
www.monarch.org.nz...
(2) Plant more swan plants! Where you have swan plants in inappropriate places, let the monarchs weed them OR share them with others OR put them in a bucket of water and let the caterpillars eat them.
(3) DON'T use pesticides. It could be pesticides which are affecting the monarch... more research will help identify the cause. Find out through our website alternatives to what you've used in the past.
Hope this is helpful! There's more info. of course on our website. Please share, let's see what we can do to help the monarchs.
