Annual Appeal is our largest fundraiser of the year and we need all of the help we can get from volunteers who can help with collections around the Wellington Region on Friday 5th April and Saturday 6th April. All of the funds raised during Annual Appeal stay in Wellington and go towards running our community programmes including our Youth programme. 27 February is also World NGO Day - we're excited to have a guest speaker to go with the theme, and will also be peppering the meeting with some related "icebreaker" activities! There'll be time to chat over supper, too.

An over-height vehicle has closed the southbound lane of Wellington's Terrace Tunnel.
Traffic is backing up along State Highway 1, as commuters find the main route into the city obstructed by a vehicle too tall to make through the Terrace Tunnel. Read more
