I have a very nice home that I have rented for the past 23 years, Yes my landlord is Kiangaora, One of my tenancy managers wrote me a permission to have a small dog, Now I have tried most of the rescues the last one was Ellies who stated they would never adopt to renters, spca is also like this , I… View moreI have a very nice home that I have rented for the past 23 years, Yes my landlord is Kiangaora, One of my tenancy managers wrote me a permission to have a small dog, Now I have tried most of the rescues the last one was Ellies who stated they would never adopt to renters, spca is also like this , I understand that not all renters are suitable , but to lump all renters into the not to give box, with out seeing or vistiting the abode, meeting the tenant, reviewing the approval letter from tenancy manager , wow, I would call this discrimination,, I am 65, single and happy that way, I am on the pension, all I want is an older small dog that just wants a quiet home and loving , 23 years, do they think I am going to move now or have wild parties , I would take out pet insurance, I am mobile for gentle walks, a very secure shared yard, But because I am a lowly renter with excellent references , financiallly not a millionaire but fully able to look after feed and love a wee dog ,, What a shame .,
