We're here for you 🌼

Ione Slater from Cancer Society NZ - Wellington Division

We're now back in our Newtown office. If you'd like to drop in and see us, please be aware that there will be safety processes in place at the door.

We are mindful that cancer patients are still vulnerable to COVID-19 because of a weakened immune system. To help keep you safe, we invite you to phone ahead if you want to visit any of our offices in the next few weeks.

Perhaps your query might be able to be answered over the phone? For info, advice, or to arrange to speak with a counsellor, please contact our Cancer Information Helpline on 0800 CANCER (226 237) or email a nurse on info@cancersoc.org.nz.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
