Wairarapa County Music and Cruise Martinborough combo this weekened
The Wairarapa Country Music Festival is on this weekend (28-31 January) at Tauherenikau. This year’s festival, at the beautiful racecourse near Featherston, will be one of the biggest yet with an great line up of KZ talent including Jodi Vaughan, Ainslie Allen, Katie Thompson and Eddie Low. Cruise Martinborough, the hot rod, classic and muscle car event showcasing vehicles from the 50s, 60,70s folds into the festival with cars onsite at the festival on Saturday afternoon from 2pm to 5.30pm. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
