Small businesses are vital to the recovery of our economy.

During the Covid-19 restrictions, business owners have shown initiative, hard work and resilience to keep afloat.

But many have been hit hard.

Lack of clarity about just how heavy the toll of the restrictions have been on individual businesses and their ability to quickly rebound adds to the uncertainty of the national economic recovery.

Therefore, Prosper is launching a survey targeted at finding out the scale of Covid-19's impact.

You can take that survey right now – it will only take a few minutes.

Hi everyone and a big woohoo for getting us to lockdown level 2. 👍We're hoping you'll all be so busy enjoying all your favourite shops, cafes, eateries and fave spots again, that you wont mind that we've decided to stay closed a little longer. ☕️🍰🍟🍔🏖

We don't believe we can offer you a quality painting experience and a 100% covid safe environment, so we'd rather wait till we can be absolutely sure we can deliver to our previous awesome Paint Party standard again before we reopen the studio for in person painting classes.

Our goal has always been to share the joy and healing of art with you, and we cant wait to get back to teaching you face to face as soon as we feel we can safely do so. We'll reassess as we get closer to Level 1.

Thanks so much for all the love, messages and ongoing support over the last couple of months. We're having a blast with virtual paint parties, but we really miss having you in the studio and can't wait to serve you in person again soon.
Till then, stay safe, stay healthy, stay happy
Aroha nui 😍

PS If you'd like to learn to paint with us online, join our virtual paint parties. More info here heartforart.co.nz...

Our crews have been responding to a water main burst on Fortification Street in Karaka Bay affecting water supply to Fortification Road, Glenville Road and 130-156 Nevay Road.

Water is now expected water to be back up by 3.30pm.

When the water supply is back on, it’s a good idea for residents to open a cold tap slowly then let it run for a minute or so to clear any air bubbles that may have entered the system. Air can cause the water to turn a milky colour, but this won’t affect the taste, and should clear quickly. If the water has not cleared after 15 minutes or so, please call your local council and let them know.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused.
