Thanks to funding from the Dry July Foundation, our 180+ volunteer drivers can use one of our new 200 Car Handy Bars! These devices help people get in and out of a car simply by leaning on the bar. They are portable and are quickly and easily fitted and removed from car door latches.

Last year, our trained volunteer drivers drove cancer patients to over 3,200 trips to treatment centres around Wellington. Our driving service is available to people who do not have their own transport (or don’t have family or friends who can take them regularly).
