Hi Everyone,
Our family is moving overseas and our beloved dog can't come :-( So we are looking for a new home for him. His name is Barkley, he is 6 years old, he loves cuddles and he is super enthusiastic. We adopted him as a rescue puppy from the SPAC. We have 2 young children and he is great with them. We don't know exactly what kind of dog he is but at a guess a lab crossed with a staffy. He is a large dog and very loving. He loves to swim and play tug - he likes to fetch but doesn't like to give anything back so we throw stones into the water and he chases the splashes! He is very strong and we have a special lead that stops him pulling (but he doesn't like it very much). He comes with everything you need for a dog (bed, bowls, leads). He sleeps inside but not in the bedroom. He is a great guard dog and will keep your home and things very safe. He is not destructive but will occasionally bury one of the children's toys if they leave them out..... We feed him a wheat free diet as he seems to get quite itchy if not. He mostly gets on with other dogs but can get a bit protective when on the lead. He is all up to date with his vaccinations etc.
If you have room in your heart (and home) for him, or know someone that does, please message me and you are welcome to meet him. It is very important to us that he goes to a lovely home so we would like to visit your place prior to adoption, leaving him is going to break our hearts. He will be a great addition to any home.
Thank you,
Georgina
