This is to allow for work continuing either side of the Drive, meaning it’s not yet safe for public access.
Health and safety is our number one concern so until work moves away from this area it will have to remain closed on weekdays. You can still access the area on weekends.
We’ll keep you updated through social media, and will announce the weekday reopening of Tunnel Drive on our website.

I have with other passengers got off no 2 bus walked on the shambles of path dodging orange cones to get to connecting no 18 just get to back door of that bus takes off they are not waiting 2 days in a row I banged side window at back a guy waving at driver nope didn’t see didn’t care and defiantly didn’t connect . Yesterday weather was shocking wet and wild at 9.30am , today nice weather but still trying get off no 2 bus get no 18 bus in front not working . So Over this shambles !!
