Please read our service update for more information. To help minimise disruption to Kilbirnie residents, we’ve teamed up with Wellington City Council so this work can happen at the same time as the bike path construction on Evans Bay Parade that continues to the Bay Road intersection. The tree (a pohutakawa) is situated on council land where the sewer line runs underneath to meet the road. I believe that the sewer line belongs to the homeowner until it meets the road; however, we would like to know if anyone has dealt with the WCC to remove the roots. Your advice in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks
