Taste of Cultures is a celebration of Wellington's cultural diversity through food, music, dance, speakers and voices from our former refugee communities.
We are so grateful that the team at Te Papa have opened up the Te Marae event space for us, guests will enjoy a private viewing of their exhibition 'Stories from refugees in New Zealand' before dinner.
Tickets are $120 per person, or $900 for a table of 9 guests.

Today we are a step closer to Greater Wellington's target of carbon neutrality by 2030. Contracts have just been signed with NZ bus and Tranzurban for 98 new electric buses. This will take Metlink's electric buses to 108 out of 450 buses in the fleet, that is 22% of the fleet. This will take Metlink's electric buses to 108 out of 450 buses in the fleet, that is 22% of the fleet. That is high by international standards, outside of China. This will lead to 61 diesel buses being taken off the roads and a 17% drop in carbon emissions and noxious fumes. Congratulations to NZ bus and Tranzurban.
