We'd love to hear about the great places you've discovered over your summer holidays, whether it's somewhere local or on a trip away. Did you come across a particularly amazing beach, camping ground, town, walk or scenic spot? What made it so special? Any activities or places to eat and drink you can recommend in the area would also be much appreciated. As usual, please include 'NFP' (not for publication) in your comment if you don't want it included in a travel article.
Cheers.

Hi Neighbours,
We are looking for a dog walker to walk our 1.5 year old Golden Retriever, Alfie, for the next few months (about 3 times a week to start). I usually run him up Mt Vic for an hour a day but I am returning to work so I won't be able to keep doing that every day. Preferably a school kid who could come pick him up either before school, or after, and walk him up Mt Vic for approx an hour. He is a very friendly nature but can still be a bit of a dick and not listen so someone who has some experience dog walking and is patient would suit the role perfectly. Please message me directly to discuss. Thanks!!

A memorial service was held for one of New Zealand's most famous birds, Manukura the Little White Kiwi, at Pukaha National Wildlife Centre on Saturday.
The little white kiwi with a feisty personality was more than just a bird to those who met her and the institutions who served as her guardians.
The extremely rare bird made the news across the world as the first white kiwi chick to be hatched in captivity back in 2011, and she died on December 27, 2020 after surgery to remove an infertile egg that had become stuck.

This unit in good but used condition and sorry but comes with out tapware. It has scuff marks here n there and a rip in the front. Over all though this basin still looks reasonably stylish its very comfortable. It has a side lever to adjust the chair from seated upright to a more reclined position. Needs to be picked up from Kilbirnie, I haven't ever done this but I think you can take the basin off. I Also have a matching basin only in white its not attached to a recliner or anything Ill post this listing and photos asap but if interested let me know. The measurement's for the black unit are 117cm x 94cm x 70cm. The measurement's for just the basin its self are 63cm x 50cm The white one is same as the black so no.s should be the same. The white basin is priced at $50. Cheers K

I'm a one and a half year old, medium cross breed - with a mix of staffy and boxer. I'm very affectionate with humans. Although, I'm recommended to stay with teenagers and older, as I'm a little unfamiliar with children. Otherwise, I'm the biggest cuddle bug! I have been socialised with some dogs at the centre, so I won't mind living with a friendly, playful dog. I would love a family that can take me out for walks everyday and keep me active."
