I’ve received a text about a cat struck and killed on the Glenside/Churton Park/Grenada Village over bridge off ramp toward Wellington. This being on a Tuesday or Thursday morning after he went missing and before Easter. WCC have indicated they would have transferred the person calling to NZTA who can’t help me as they have no set date, caller name or job log number. If anyone else saw a cat killed on this off ramp and can help us know if i’s our boy or not, we would so appreciate it. It’s been a month and no sign, and we are pretty desperate to know either way. TXT 0274152236 appreciated.

I may look like a typical wild rabbit, but I can assure you I am not. My Mum was a domestic rabbit and super sweet. I am good with people I know, and am still young and still learning. I have an inquisitive nature and would love a home with people who will have me around them, either as a solely indoor rabbit, or mostly indoors. I will need a large outdoor area with a weatherproof hutch or shelter for days when the weather is nice. I will need to be inside as part of the family at night, so a hutch or area inside with you is important. I would also like a female rabbit for company, so if you have a lonely rabbit maybe we could be friends?

New research led by Te Herenga Waka–Victoria University of Wellington senior lecturer Dr Jamie Howarth shows the probability of that earthquake occurring before 2068 is about 75 per cent.
Until now, it had been thought to be about 30 per cent, based on sequences of sediment deposited adjacent to the Alpine Fault in northern Fiordland.
Scientists from Victoria University, the University of Otago, GNS Science, the University of California, and the United States Geological Survey also calculated there is about an 82 per cent chance the earthquake will be of magnitude-8 or higher.
