We received a truck load of great suggestions, tips and methods!
More importantly, we saw how it helped other Kiwis discover new ways to help their households cut down on costs and make things go further. It made us so happy to see neighbours supporting neighbours.

You have never tried decadent Eclaires filled with Vietnamese Coffee Chocolate Cream! What about these Ondeh-Ondeh & Nagasari? Who says eggless, dairy free, vegetarian desserts have to be boring? Come on. We know you're curious already! 130 Main Road Tawa.

We're getting some amazing entries from gardeners obsessed with their indoor plants, and we're enjoying their stories too. There's still time to send us your entry for our Houseplant Hero 2022 competition. You could win some great prizes, and (of course) more houseplants!

This week, watch out for Tom Yum Fried Rice, Mango Moroccan, Haus Carrot Cake, Rasberry Roll, Tiramisu! Someone asked for Dutch Beef Croquet (yes, you know who you are 😊 ). Our family has a few versions of these but ok, let's just start with that one first, yes?

On another note, we will be doing Council stuff on Thursday 2 Jun so will close whole day. What a waste but hey, any of you Barista and/or Bakerman, rafft euch auf und kommt her! 😉 Otherwise it's just us doing all the work so we need more hands on deck!
In any case, to make up for that, we will trial a Sunday opening. More of the Queeny Hols Hours coming up so keep an eye out on that one. If there's local support for it, boom! We'd do it all for the love of Good People in weeks to come. How does that sound?

"This is my 25year old Chinchilla called Chilli. She is a Standard grey colour, and she is the sweetest wee girl, who loves her cuddles and snuggles with Mum, and loves pats and tickles from all of our family. Its very very rare to have a Chinchilla who loves to be touched as much as she does. She is a rescue who came from people who didn't know how to properly care for her. Her favorite treats are dried Red rose petals, dried rose buds and most of all, her Apple sticks. I love her so much."

"I was going to leave the tūī for my checklist until the kowhai or flax were flowering later in the year - you know, for the poses, but this guy just about landed on my lap in the Herb Garden at the Wellington Bot Gardens - he's on a stake by the curry plant, which funnily enough, really smells like curry. He was singing up a storm in the pine trees before swooping down for a quick sniff. Bird #83 in 2022."
