You collect on your rostered weekend from the back of the deli in their large buckets, wiz home and empty them, hose the tubs out and return to the deli. PM me for more details or to join the roster.

We will keep everyone updated via our Facebook Event if anything changes. As per DOC advice, we remind keen whale watchers to keep at least 50m away from the rare whale/tohora.

Last year over 4,000 people attended events in our region’s libraries and galleries. This year tamariki can once again go on an amazing literary and creative journey during the school holidays at hundreds of events around the region at New Zealand’s largest literary festival for children.
Sir Jon Trimmer will be back with Tales from the Ballet, Wellington’s Kings and Queens will be reading hand-picked stories at Rainbow Storytimes, award-winning Kiwi authors and creators (such as Sasha Cotter and Josh Morgan) will share their enthusiasm and knowledge with the next generation of storytellers, the BARK NZ brigade will be bringing their furry friends along, robots will be unleashed, and so much more – there’s something on for all members of the whānau!

We're holding our annual Art Exhibition from July 14th - July 21st, 10am - 4pm each day. We'd love to see lots of people from the community and further afield come and support our amazing local artists. Art will be available to view and purchase. Hope to see you there!

We need people over 65 to shoot in a range of transportation settings. These include walking, driving, busing, on trains, taxis etc. and in different urban and rural settings. We would like to have a diverse mix of people, their friends and families. The images will be used for promotional materials and a consent form will need to be signed. We are unable to pay participants but can offer a koha grocery/petrol voucher. The shoot will take place in July 2018.
