Councillors on the City Strategy Committee today voted 8 – 5 in favour of the trial which will initially last six months, but can be extended by 12 months. The extension will allow time for consultation and policy engagement.
Councillors voted that e-scooters should not be allowed on footpaths in the CBD or suburban shopping centres.

Speakers from the CFFC, Retirement Village Association and the legal profession (if available), will discuss types of retirement villages, the costs of moving into and living in them, and how they operate. The seminar will also explain some important residents' rights and where you can find out more information.
The seminar is 90 minutes long and will include question and answer time.
Tea, coffee and light refreshments are provided.
Places are limited and while attendance is free, registering is essential.

I have decided to proceed with the Acting Class. The first class will be on Wednesday 27th Feb 8-9.30pm at Karori Recreation Centre. $15 for 1.5hr class. You will learn how to: Release your creativity, expand your imagination, minimize your inhibitions, learn to listen better, Have more confidence. And much more. This is level 1.
