We will be completing this repair tonight between 11pm-3am, this will involve water being shut off. Water is expected to be back on at 3am, however if there are any delays we will notify Wellington City Council who will share this information on their social channels.
Noise will be minimal, and affected businesses/residents have been informed.
Full traffic flow will be maintained through the intersection, with existing traffic management in place due to the closed shoulder on the Northern Western corner of the Dixon/Willis Street intersection.

Or did you drop a dead one outside our house, thinking it was one of ours? We came out to find someone's dead chicken on our path today and it hasn't been there long. No sign of a struggle/feathers around so it really seems like someone else has just dropped it there. If it was your friend and you'd like to collect it and bury it, we are at 88 Cecil Rd. Otherwise, if I don't hear from you, we will bury it in the garden. Sorry for your loss.

Work is progressing well in Hargreaves Street, as we pour the concrete floor and walls in the chamber, and finish off the pipe installation. We are on track to open up the bottom of Hargreaves Street by the end of the month in preparation for the Wallace Street road closure happening from December 8.
We’ve taken a few photos from around the current work site, as well as inside the chamber at Hargreaves Street so you can see what it looks like under the surface.
