We are pleased to be able to offer another free CAP budgeting course for people in South Wellington. The 3 sessions will put you in control of your money, whether you have a lot or a little.
Our previous course was a big success going by the reviews we got. There are no catches - we run the course because we believe people should get the most out of their income and remain debt free. It is totally confidential - only you can access your data.
The CAP budgeting course gives you use of a free spreadsheet that allows you to plan your spending for as long as you want to use it. Thousands of Kiwi's, as well as people in England, Australia, and Canada have benefitted from the course.
The next course runs for 3 sessions starting on Monday July 17th, at 7.30pm, then 24th July and 7th August. It is being held at St Hilda's, 311 The Parade. Did you know in New Zealand about 9,000 people each year have a stroke. Some 2,000 die from a stroke; about another 2,000 are left severely incapacitated, about another 2,000 have considerable disability and the rest have some disability or nearly recover. Nobody recovers completely.
It is estimated that some 50% of strokes can be avoided with life style changes.
Interested to find out what you can do to have a good chance to avoid a stroke??
Our next meeting of the Western Suburbs Stroke Survivors will be on Tuesday 11th July at 10.30am at Huntleigh Home, 221 Karori Road.
To find us go in and past Reception and turn right.
We look forward to meeting all fellow stroke survivors, carers and friends and discussing how we are getting on.

You will see the magic of silver and light combining to create a 19th century tintype. Beginning with a short Powerpoint presentation into the history and process with original historic images to view. You will then have the opportunity to craft your own portrait tintype. With care, your priceless heirloom photograph will last for decades without fading or changing colour. Tintypes are created in an authentic bellows camera, processed under red light in a darkroom, then washed, dried and varnished.
