I came home and made more flyers and distributed them around the location where she was seen. Then I had a second phone call to tell me that she was found, but sadly, she was an angel at 7 pm. I had never thought that she could come back home. I did not give up on finding her because everybody's support from the community kept me going. She is now at home, sleeping in her hammock in her cage as she used to do instead of sleeping in the cold forest. Thank you so much for your care and support. She loved flying. Now she can fly high up in the sky to go over the rainbow.

Rowing is one of Judyβs passions, and sheβs had great success with it, competing up and down the country since picking up the sport in her 50s. A highlight in her rowing career was in 2017 when Judy, along with her rowing partner Alison, competed in The World Masters Games, winning a silver medal in the 1000m Womenβs Pairs.
She currently holds the title of top women's single sculler in the 70-75 year age group in New Zealand and is second in the North Island for the 65-75 year age group.
Adventure is in Judyβs DNA. Sheβs always up for hitting the open road and exploring the fantastic wilderness that Aotearoa has to offer. When sheβs not rowing, Judy loves to hike. And sheβs no stranger to several hard South Island trails.
Having a lifestyle this active and busy means that Judy doesnβt want to be worrying about her home while she is away. She chose Rymanβs Murray Halberg Village because it suits all her needs, right down to the location near the water as well as all the safety and security benefits.
βItβs a lock up and leave it situation,β she says.

Do you ever feel like your stuff holds you back, but the thought of decluttering just seems too hard? If so, youβre not alone.
This is the first of a series of articles dedicated to helping you to downsize, declutter and rightsize your life, brought to you by Ryman Healthcare in conjunction with decluttering expert Peter Walsh.
When helping people to declutter, Peter never starts by focusing on the stuff itself. Every item in your home has a story, so the first step is to think about what that story is.
Maybe youβre thinking about downsizing as you approach retirement but still have all the artwork and toys and books that belonged to your now adult children, and donβt know what to do with them. Perhaps letting go of that old sports equipment means letting go of a vision you had of yourself that no longer fits who you are. Maybe youβre holding onto heirlooms you have no use for because you want to keep the memory of the person alive.
No matter what your situation is, itβs easier to declutter and downsize if you start by identifying the feelings that underlie your attachment to your stuff before tackling the stuff itself.
