Sorry, I did not post my usual SPCA Pet of the Day on Sunday but this week it is something different, a white rabbit.

"I was roaming on a property which also had dogs on it, so for my own safety, I was brought to SPCA.
I have a strong character and will need a home with someone who is experienced with rabbits. Once I know I am loved, I calm down but at first I do come across as reactive. I would love to have a friend, I haven't met one here at SPCA, so if you have a lonely male rabbit, maybe we could be friends?
I wouldn't suit young children or a busy home as I get worried by sudden movements and loud noises. I will need a large grassy area with a weather-proof hutch for day time. At night I will need an area inside with my family."

Joanna Prendergast is a Psychiatrist by day and a Comedian by night. She has been touring her debut solo comedy show "The Cool Mum" around the South Island since mid 2020, winning the Best Solo Show and Audience Fav at the Nelson Fringe Festival. The show is a parody of a celebrity parenting seminar and she is bringing it to the Wellington Fringe Festival in March. Joanna assures us she takes her day job very seriously, but her comedy persona, Jo Ghastly, is a different story.
