The 7 elected members of the CCDHB are the community's voice in Wellington's health services. There are 23 candidates in this election - who do you want to represent you? Come to this meeting and hear what they have to say!
Meeting at St Anne's Hall, Emmett St Newtown, on Thursday 26th September, doors open 7pm, meeting 7.30pm sharp. Laura Keown will be facilitating. There will be supper and time for informal chats after the formal meeting.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
