We asked, listened, and collaborated directly with farmers in the making of this gear. We tested and re-tested in on-farm environments. We re-engineered what farming workwear can be with your needs front of mind. We brought our decades of experience creating world-class performance gear. Add to that a legacy of Kiwi innovation, a challenger spirit and a practical attitude that’s been part of Line 7 since we started back in 1963.

Every detail has been reviewed and refined – without overlooking the obvious. Breathable, flexible, functional and comfortable, while still being supremely durable and waterproof. Made to fit farmers of all shapes and sizes, with a dedicated range for women. Built to last, and last a bit longer still, with an included repair kit that means you can fix it up quickly yourself.

Now take it out there, try it on and put it to the test. Wear it out and wear it again. We’re pretty damn confident you won’t be disappointed.

Karori Cemetery is the final resting place for people whose lives ended tragically – from drowning, from murder, and from accidents of all kinds. This tour includes the story of three militia men killed in a guncotton explosion; an attempted murder followed by suicide; a drowning or two plus other exciting stories.

Each tour is $10 per person (plus non-refundable booking fee). Children under 12 are free.

How to Book:
Please follow the link to secure your tickets:
events.humanitix.com...

Our tour has a maximum capacity of about 15 persons. If there are insufficient tickets remaining for your party, please email us on friendsofkaroricemeterytours@gmail.com to check if we can accommodate you.

Note:
If we have to cancel a tour due to inclement weather or sickness, we will notify you on the day by 9am by email and on our Facebook page. The booking fee is non-refundable.

Please dress appropriately for the conditions. While we do our best to guide you on a safe walking route, during the winter months the ground can become slippery in places.

Some of our walks require a moderate degree of fitness and are not suited for those with limited mobility. Please read the tour descriptions carefully to check that they will be suitable for you.
We look forward to welcoming you to Karori Cemetery.

It seems that every year, Featherston Booktown goes from strength to strength, and is surely making its mark along with its other international Booktown events in Europe, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan and Australia.

Booktown celebrates books, storytelling and ideas, and the artefact and craft of the book.

The word is getting out about this year’s rich line-up of events in our South Wairarapa town and already some events are sold out.

There’s so much to choose from – there's sure to be something to tempt you. How about a selection of horror stories told late at night, or learn how to write your family’s history, or even a session devoted to pets, our adored fur babies.

Kids can do some print and paper making, or turn a poem into prompt journal (8 years and older) with Emma Hinton. Carol Duffy has a free book reading where kids can make native bird stick puppets that are part of the story.

Tell your friends and make a date to head to a Booktown event and be educated, inspired and entertained.

Featherston Booktown Karukatea Festival – 51 events, 89 presenters and literary top-liners, along with 25 booksellers.

Friday 12 to Sunday 14 May 2023. Find out about the packed programme here. Book your tickets online or at Martinborough or Masterton i-SITEs.

I have lived in New Zealand for the last twelve years, after being born and raised in Somerset, England. My parents ran a playgroup in our house for much of my childhood and I made close friends there, but I still felt isolated and different to everyone else.

I always loved food. We were able to help ourselves from the cupboards at home when I was young, with no restrictions.

Don't go old-school this winter and just throw on another jersey to beat the cold. You deserve to be truly comfortable in a warm, dry home without stressing about power bills.

Warmer Kiwi Homes is a government grant that offers 80% of the cost of ceiling and underfloor insulation, and up to 80% off an energy-efficient heater, like a heat pump.

And you may get it even cheaper than that - lots of community organisations offer extra funding to reduce the cost further.
