Is Life Worth Living after 90? Ask the Experts! Rachel McAlpine tackles with fun and courage a topic that bothers many people — getting old.

At 75, Rachel’s GP predicted she would live to 99. She promptly tuned up her lifestyle and wrote a best-selling book of poems, How To Be Old. But 99 is way past 75. Last year twelve local nonagenarians told Rachel about their lives, sparking The Secret Lives of Extremely Old People. Do You Need A Virtual Assistant??

Sue from Sue Gray, Virtual Assistant

Are you a trade-based business owner?

Are you a trade-based business owner?

Are you hunched over the kitchen table doing all your paperwork at night and in the weekends?

Or, are you the partner of a trade-based business owner, and you're hunched over the kitchen table doing all their paperwork at night and in the weekends?

Have you considered hiring a Virtual Assistant to take care of your office admin and bookkeeping?

Do you know that hiring a Virtual Assistant is way cheaper than employing another staff member??

I’m a Certified Bookkeeper and Xero advisor, well versed in general office admin, lover of creating and following processes, payroll, paperless offices and possibly slightly OCD about numbers.

I’ve been around trades-based businesses for 20+ years, as an owner and/or office manager, so I know what’s involved in running a trades-based business (and I’m used to bad language and politically incorrect jokes!).

I assist trade-based business owners just like you focus in and on their business - knowing their bookkeeping, payroll and office administration tasks are safe, correct and up-to-date with me.

EMAIL ME TODAY: hello@suegrayva.co.nz to arrange a free 30-minute confidential no-obligation chat, to find out how I can assist you!

Kia ora,

Our next meeting of the Western Suburbs Stroke Survivors will be on Tuesday 14th November at 10.30am at Huntleigh Home, 221 Karori Road.

There will be a presentation on Advance Care Planning by Kay Webster.

To find us, go in and past Reception and turn right.

Did you know in New Zealand about 9,000 people each year have a stroke. Some 2,000 die from a stroke; about another 2,000 are left severely incapacitated, about another 2,000 have considerable disability and the rest have some disability or nearly recover. Nobody recovers completely.
It is estimated that some 50% of strokes can be avoided with life style changes.
Interested to find out what you can do to have a good chance to avoid a stroke??

We look forward to meeting all fellow stroke survivors, carers and friends and discussing how we are getting on.

Nga mihi,
Peter Macleod
Convenor
